okay, movies i managed to watch not too long ago..the maid was boring. expected ghost popping out scenes. fell asleep in the cinema. no, not scary although many claimed that the movie was good. urgh. drink, drank, drunk was entertaining, with leng zais on screen to drool over. the cave was not bad, actually. not too fond of the alien-like creatures though. hoping to catch charlie later on. like finally!

went pan mee hunting in paramount which the 3 of us ended up savouring hawker food at o&s. the shop was busy and every stall looked like it had something good to offer. ordered chicken rice, prawn mee, char kuey teow, yong tau foo, wan tan mee, egg tarts, and fried bananas. were we starving or what? heh. headed to ou, went uno crazy again at juiceworks, went shopping for instant noodles (gila sial) etc, then later at night, dropped by yuen steamboat as planned (surprise no more =P). thought that our plan was going down the drain because there were many many people waiting outside the shop, some having waited for over an hour according to the waiting list. tried our luck hoping to get a table faster than told (45mins), and yay, we had ours minutes later as we came in a smaller group compared to the others.

fi, jj, my cutie baby octopus, and our number X serving of chicken wings. =)

buffets are NOT good because we tend to overOvereat, being greedy and all helping ourselves out with the amount of good food they served. went crazy over the chicken wings, jj being the only one who conquered the vegs although ours seemed so pityfully small load compared to the other table who were stuffing loads and loads of vegs into their steamboat, with a few plates of stacked vegs awaiting for their next round. it was a fun dinner, having spent at least 2 hours there; getting soSo bored with the tom yum soup base, and being bloated after dinner, making each other finish their balls and all. haha.

as ever attracted to the kl night view. klcc is da magnificento building!
okay this picture is bad, but who cares =P
stopped my car in the middle of the road to snap pix of klcc
which caused eye-rollings and haih-ings from dear jon. lol.

went home only to know that mum&dad were asleep, so off we went to bliss! there, right outside jon's house, parked many cars, with a small crowd waiting...waiting for the fireworks presentation for the merdeka celebration. first, at 12 sharp came from merdeka square, then a few minutes later, klcc. yea, it reminded me that a year ago, chrissy and i were enjoying the sight outside ikano which lasted for over half an hour. very nice indeed.

continued the night blissing with lin jun jie and the guys. lookalike i mean. =)

went to ff axis earlier on, and surprisingly saw jonathan dohdoh and michelle weili, both from du, working there. the other dohdoh is said to be 'chilling around' when asked what she was doing. haha. omg i don't think i've spent my entire 5 years in du talking to him as much as i did today, although it was just a short one. remember how the dohdohs were such yucksy poos back in the days? haha funny =)

sien-ed for possibly having need to be sien-ed again, much unless i choose to ignore 'the' existence. why..WHY must you add that decision into your list. i took into account other routes like for the sake of..you? okay, maybe it isn't that irritating, but in a way, i have been looking forward to it without your existence there. okay, this paragraph is so not understandable. thanks for figuring out what i'm trying to rant here. ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

And, before i forget,

Happy Independence Day Malaysia!
