chinese new year has been pretty good. ate loads - 3 heavy meals daily for the first few days, not forgetting the munchings on cookies & junk food + soft drinks when visiting or even at home..collected a satisfying amount of ang pows, bought firecrackers, did house visitings, attended open houses, ate even more, had drinking sessions as well as many many gambling sessions, saw beautiful fireworks, and...that's pretty much what i did =)

aNYWayz, went down to malacca on the 2nd day of cny. my grandma's house has never been noisier, and it was a good sight to see most of my relatives gathered under one roof because there were some family conflicts going on. the best thing of all is having the adults walking over to me giving me my angpows, as well as getting my brother's share on behalf of him. muahahaha getting angpows twobytwo was fun =) then just like previous years, the group of 50+ of us went house visiting at my grandaunts' & granduncle's. went for my uncle's open house later at night..then the next morning, we went visiting at my dad's side in tampin. haven't return there much ever since my grandma passed away, and we used to spend the eve and the first day of cny in tampin as well. didn't really enjoy spending nights there, but now i do miss their way of cooking and being around my cousins..used to gamble day&night during cny lar =P this time around, it was much more quiet compared to a few years back. oh well.

this is my 10yr old cousin who helped me cheat in blackjack. tsk tsk =)

us cousins resorted to the only form of entertainment - food&gambling when we visited our grandaunts&granduncles, every year without fail.
