today was stay-in day. the phone woke me up by 11, took a long hot shower~~, had indomeeee~~ (omg instant food is da bomb!), and while fulfilling my daily dose of movies&shows, dozed off half way through the movie till almost 6pm teeheeeheeee. had tom yum fried rice for dinner (yumzzz!! omg who actually self praise their own cooking other than me? haha =P). was boreddddd and i decided to do some cleaning! started off with the kitchen where there were many plates and pots left unwashed in the basin, the stove with all sorta stains on it, andd...aiya i dunno lar i only washed up the dishes etc, cleaned the stove, and took the big bag of rubbish out. the kitchen is errr much cleaner now lar. not tidy yet =P then next up was my room. walaoeh my room was messy (as usual), but it was worse than any other day. more junks on the couch, chair, table, floor and bed. vacuumed the room, cleaned up unnecessary stuffs, tidied the place, and............actually the tidying-up place is still in process. was busy watching prison break la =P i'm addicted to ittttt woooooooooot so chikek i think i'll catch another episode la before i go to bed since it's still early wert hehe.

nothing much has been going on here. there were a few happy purchases though *hehe*. was out with THE europeans last night - the 10 others consists of germans, austrians, french, and portugese. and languages that took place were of course german, french, and english; german when the germans&austrians are communicating, french when....the french are communicating lar, and english when the rest are communicating. they're not very english literate though, so some times hor when they can't think of the proper word to use eg can't translate the french word to english, it'd end up being a 'fill in the blank' conversation. interesting hahaha. again, the bunch of us were underdressed. ended up in velvet which played some good music hehe =)

anywayzzzzzz there was a fire drill in the house on errr wednesday evening i think. the bell ranggggggg, i opened my room door....waited...and finally my flatmates came out of their rooms. took my own sweet time to grab my jacket, chat a while more on the net, and made way out of the house. it was freezing outside. there were probably 20-30 others already outside, some in bathrobes(hahahha), some in shorts(hahahahha), some without anything to keep them warm(hahahahha), a few others holding onto beers.......lalalalala so the staffs went in the house to check, and out they came after a few mins. their ketua didn't seem pleased. so we had a counselling session out in the cold. then she called one of the house's students out. 'Flat 5, do you recognise this?' while showing them a flyer of the events for the fresher's nite. 'This, was found on the ceiling in the kitchen blocking the censor for the smoke detector(something like that lar cannot rememeber)'

omgggg damn funny lar! we thought we were the only ones doing that coz we also blocked the censor. everytime someone walks pass the censor, it would then activate the air ventilator thingy which produces some noisy sound, and one day my flatmate couldn't stand it anymore that he cleverly sticked some blutack on it hehe. prior to that incident, we are disallowed to do that anymore for safety precautions blablablablabla. diu lor there's fire drill every wednesday evening...-__-

has been raining alot too. getting colder as well. finally figured out how to use the heater - by controlling the thermostat at the corridor where one switch controls all the heaters in the flat. the funny thing is, everytime one person activates it, let's say i set it to 25degrees, an hour later when i go check the thermostat, it'll be at 10degrees (obviously the heater has been switched off lar). too warm for them i c? this has happened quite a few times coz one minute i'm enjoying the warmth i'm getting, and the next thing you know, the heater is colddddd again. aiseh.
