attended warwick's m-night - felt out of place with my very informal outfit while others were in dresses and suits o_O food was disappointing - their nasi was tAsteless, chicken was oKAYyy, vege was okayyy as well except for those weird (note: bitter) tasting beans/fruits/vege they put in it...was it even malaysian food they were serving??? and nevermind lar main course was pretty edible...we convinced ourselves that our dessert, batik cake, would be good and ended up waiting forEVER for them to serve it.
huh batik cake? what batik cake?
THIS is batik cake.

omg malaysians WTH is batik cake??? is it even from malaysia??? deng lar have not heard of it nor have i tasted such thing until m-night...and i thought it was a cake....turn out to be some rock hard kuih..sigh what a dissapointment =( six pounds wasted =( can buy 3baskets of dim sum with 6pounds okayyyy =(

OKAYYY to make things clear, it is like sOOoo scaweeee to see banyakbanyak familiar faces at such events...like some taylor's alumni thingy liddat o_O
and it was great to see friends performing on stage =) or even familiar faces lar =P the play was kindof a drag....until the 'voted BEST dikir barat malaysian students group in the UK!!!!' came on stage =) i don't think i've seen any dikir barats...maybe many MANY donkey years ago on rtm1 u know....those times when u have nothing to watch on tv, keep switching channels, then u come across rtm1 and u see a bunch of people sitting on the stage doing the dikir barat thingy...blehhh
