moving in here has its pros and cons. pros being the place is forever so clean, so neat & tidy, smells great, not fearing of having my stuffs stolen etc. cons being, i feel the need to be quiet at all times if my flatmate is around because you'll never know when she's doing her work or sleeping. having to keep the volume down at all times, especially past 10/11pm when i assume that it's near her bed time lar.

then i have to keep the kitchen clean lar, but recently i'm just so lazy to keep up the 'standard' as it's more convenient for me to leave my plates and cutleries in the room when i'm done eating, just like before =P

so i have this habit of switching my music on when i go to bed, at like really minimum volume - those of you who have stayed over should know. yesterday i left my playlist on shuffle (which consists of all sorts of music - noisy happy ones, emo ones..etc) and got a note in return. yea we communicate by leaving notes behind...so my music was interrupting her sleep o_O it was soooo soft ok. the walls are so freaking thin - i can hear her conversations while she's on the phone, hear her watching tv even though it's not loud, and i can even hear her sneeze in the middle of the night. it's just like we're sharing a room except that we're separated by this fucking thin piece of board. sigh.

back in the old flat, i can watch my shows at maximum volume on my speakers (at softer volume when it's past midnight..), laugh my ass off, blast and sing songs, talk loud loud on the phone at 4/5am..here kenot =( and then there were 6 of us, so it's hard to point out whose fault was it if someone dirtied the kitchen/toilet or whatever. here kenot run and hide and pretend that it's not you who did it because it's just the two of us =(

i am so not staying in halls ever again whereby everything is limited - limited volume/noise, limited internet. sien to the max. i'll just look for a studio flat or share the place with a friend LAR >=(

at least she's nicer than gwladys's flatmate who seems to be pms-ing all the time.
