being away from kl was great for a change. being back at home after a enjoyable&tiring trip was better :)

was in malacca on fri.





having malacca as my hometown, i seriously have no idea where to find good cendol, the best chicken rice balls, and dunno the way to the rest of the eateries for the best satay celup and roti john to name, and didn't even know that malacca was famous for their asam laksa o_O we just go to the nearer shops which sells good&decent chicken rice balls and satay celup to satisfy our cravings =) this time around, while hunting for cendol at jonker walk, chow&i walked into our aunt's stall by accident, and we sat at her lil stall chatting with her while slurping into the cooling cendol, AND the cendol was sooo goood! the gula melaka sure did make a difference!


then on the next day,







at singapore i was! =)))

can't recall the last time i walked this much - from 5-10pm on the first day, then 11am-5pm the next. wished i was loaded with money though because shopping was sooo much better over there! nevertheless i'm happy with my purchases wheeee. and the only consolation for my overspending is to convert everything to pounds! :D

Pull and Bear was found in singapore!!!! and my greatest discovery today is finding out that they're gonna open an outlet in 1u sooooon ZOMG!!!!!!!! not to mention that i was lost for choice at Graniph for tees!! really friendly shop assistants they have too :))


and do your instincts tell you that the creature shown above on the tee is a dog or a lion or a tiger or a WHATEVERLARRRRRR???




their bak kwa delight never fail to amaze me!

then when lynn asked what i wanted for my drink, "chin chai lar" i replied. proceeded to the refrigerator anyway and remembered bout these fellas' existence!

the Whatever lynn had was apple juice.
the Anything i had was carbonated apple juice.
errrrrrr....?
i did hope that it was apple juice anyway so i was right!!!!! -.-

and THIS weirdly shaped japanese ice cream is DA bomb!!!!

the strawberry+blueberry was okay lar, butBUT the greentea+redbean flavour is beyond awesome! and i don't even like both greentea AND redbean to begin with! definitely worth every cent of my $5.30 aaAAayumyUMmYUMYUm!!

and all THAT, my friend, is why i can't wait for my next trip back to singapore!

except for the kiasuism i experienced from fellow singaporeans. GEEEEEZ.
