today has been a fairly good day. got my 20m ethernet cable by post today! and i only placed my order on ebay on sunday night wheeee :) the house looks kinda different now with the cable stucked all over the wall with the help of cellophane tape, but on the plus side people wouldn't trip over the cable if i didn't do so :P yay now i can go online in my room 24/7 hehe.

but while fixing the cables to the cpu, i dropped the webcam a coupla times, and now...sot ady =/

behind me is my ugly steel bedframe and plenty more stuffs on the bed.
not to mention that my hair is at its longest in years @_@


have been wanting to get the Absolut Disco from Selfridges for only £19.99 when i saw it last week, but was too lazy to carry it around with me to dinner. thought of getting it maybe tomorrow when i go kaikai in town :) while at Asda just now, i thought wHy not check out the liquor section to grab a few beers, but what caught my eye instead at that section was the Absolut Disco! AND it's only £13.94 zomg happy until can die wheeewhooo! so nope didnt get any beer this time nyahaha.

say hello to my absoluts :) WHO am i to drink 1.7litres of vodka with lar....
just look at them reflections! ahhH!
oh erm ya got the absolut 100 from dubai coz erm i've not seen it before and errr duty free mar! :D


speaking of which, while in town on saturday, we passed by my favourite costa outlet outside bullring and saw that the shop is empty! like emptyEMPTY no-furnitures-no-coffee-beans-no-nothing empty! how could they?!! :(((( no more sipping americano out there huhu. hopefully some other good eaterie or cafe would take over the space soon! *self consolation* luckily we discovered that the bux inside borders bullring has some awesome view as well :)

surprise surprise! there's a new malaysian student in my class :))) must ask whether he's having any open house during raya anot the nx time i see him wahahahahhaa! there's also this other malaysian chinese dude in my audit class.....errrr next time only say hello to him lar :P oh the joy of finally having a malaysian in my class!!!!

oh btw i'm no longer studying in uce.

because my uni feels rich and has decided to splurge on rebranding itself and to give the uni a "shorter, more powerful name" and to tell you peeps that YES the UNIVERSITY is located in the CITY of BIRMINGHAM. and thus BCU it is.

uhh.

now we have a lion or whateveritis for our logo.



and a whole lot of current students are dissatisfied with the new name. birmingham city is the name of one of two birmingham's football clubs. having aston villa 5mins away from the uni, why didn't we have it called Aston Villa University instead? o_O furthermore, it could be easily mistaken as the other better uni....hah now i can bluff my way thru and say i'm from birmingham uni instead lol. well someone did say the name sounds posh...am still not used to calling it bcu instead of uce yet.

and i've also realised that they've changed the facebook network name to Birmingham City University. ooOOOo how efficient of facebook considering that the change of name only took place yesterday.

and now i'm contemplating whether or not to attend tomorrow's tutorial.....it's been too DAMN long since i last stayed up this late! yay to my 20m ethernet cable once again :)
