back from france! spent most of my time in Aix-en-Provence while the rest were spent visiting beaches and other towns. the weather was magnificent as opposed to the dull english weather :))) the journey to and back from france was long and tiring (spent 10hours in stansted airport, and took me almost 10hours to reach home from jon's -.-), nevertheless it was great fun under the sun!

okay i promise to post about the whole trip asap unlike previous ones that were never once complete -.-


the biggest and grandest among the hundreds of fountains in Aix.


some fancy looking statue. later found out that he was the king of Aix :P


dunno who is this. this is what you get for walking around aimlessly and not doing ur research beforehand...

an ice cream van!!!!! haha it's actually some tourist van thingy la :P


with some fountain..


many expensive looking restaurants in town. Aix is like one of the most expensive towns in France! which explains why we never once get to eat out in aix......except for drinks and to tapau food la :P



Palais de Justice


ermmm one of the oldold cathedrals opposite jon's school.



some other cathedral i discovered!


they had monuments of these two confused looking topless men everywhere! no one explained to me who they were....-.-


a random square with lotsa al fresco cafes :D


and quaint little streets filled with shops and eateries that make up of this interesting town.


woke up exceptionally early one day to check out the morning market :) didn't leave jon's until 2pm on most days -.-



Hotel de Ville at night.

which left me wondering, why are there so many hotel de villes everywhere i go? are they a chain hotel or something?

turns out that a hotel de ville is a town hall -.-"

thickthick hot chocolate that resembles melted chocolate. mmmmm!

i think i overdosed on icecream and chocolate and food but not alcohol in france =/



a tub of amorino ice cream (note the size :P) with bout 10 yummy flavours! yumyumyummm shared among the 3 of us okay i'm not that greedy :P

and spent the last of my monies on soft toys....was almost too broke to catch the coach to the airport -.-"



hehe the crocodiles were warm n comfy enough to use as gloves :D

okay that's it for Aix. most pictures were taken on the last day i was there anyway coz i wasn't bothered to snap every single moment of my trip especially when i was gonna be in the same town for 10days! let's hope i wouldnt get too lazy to post up pictures of the beach :P
