i was at Curve when the badminton men's singles final was playing. eateries showing the game were all fully occupied + passerbys surrounding the tv, not to mention that all's eyes were fixed on the tv. silence. tension is what you could feel in the air. they cheered when Chong Wei scored, and let out a big hefty sigh when he fails to. this must have been THE game that all malaysians were fully supporting on their home country.

by the way, the score was already China 10 - Malaysia 2 when i watched it, and Lin Dan had already won the first match. ouch. it was painful to watch the remaining of the match too....poor boy looked so sad at the prize giving ceremony :( oh wells, Chong Wei did us proud! Malaysia's first medal for the olympics since 1996! :D
