3months late, but whattheheck =P

after brussels, we took the eurolines and found ourselves in paris a couple of hours later =)

christmas lights!!

the whole stretch of champs elysees were attractingly decorated =)


lafayettes was pretty pretty! too bad it was closed for christmas, meaning less shopping =(



was hungry..tried locating a place for food, butbut.....everything was closed for christmas =( no restaurants, no cafes, no nothing =( hotel got lar but cannot afford lol. wanted to cry ady larrr after spending forever looking for food when suddenly came in sight was a chinese restaurant!!!!! yumyumyumyumyum we were even given complimentary prawn crackers =D

not to mention that the weather was horribly cold - maximum temperature during our trip was 1degree o.o wasn't aware that it would get so cold lar coz france is to the south of uk, and near near only mar, so...didn't prepare much warm clothings - i shamelessly wore five layers, while joanne wore ar...somewhere around there lar since she's more afraid of the cold hahahahahaha +) seriously can die dot com.

up we went the tower!


on eiffel overlooking the city. my worst experience up here (my 3rd time here lar lalalalala) coz it was freeeeeezing cold - spent more time in the toilet than enjoying the view coz it was warmer in the toilet hehe, and it took us FORever to get out of the tower. it's time to upgrade ur lifts yo.

Disneyland
spent the whole day there on boxing day, and the whole place was packedPACKED with people, majority of them being kids (so scary..). so anywayz, being at disneyland, must lar take pictures with the mascots!

okay one thing i damn beh song is that whenever the mascot appears, you have to be fucking kiasu and run your ass towards the mascot and squeeze your way through the crowd in order for u to get a better chance of taking a valuable picture with da mascot, or even get them to sign in your precious autograph book. the mascot appears for like....20mins or so per hour, so chances of getting a picture snapped with them is....well it all depends on your luck. i wanted a photo with donald....so oklar i patiently got to stand beside him, but maaaaahai he only layaned the kids. wth would the kids want donald duck's autograph when the person inside it is not even donald?!

OKAY that one nevermind. suddenly out of nowhere came these bunch of disabled people. mind you, the group of them were shouting at the crowd in order for the crowd to let them through so that they'll get VVVVVVVVIP treatment from mr donald - dunnit to queue, dunnit to wait, and voila! donald himself comes to you and gives you a hug and signs your stupid useless autograph book and happily posed for the camera with you.

grrr enough of mascots.

other than freezing our asses off, we also managed to go for a few rides ler. queues were unbelievably long, and would take over an hour's wait just for a ride. those fast track tickets were useful for us who didn't like the idea of queueing up for ages =)

AND it is a must for them to serve us rock hard mien baos in our meals. no matter how unappetizing they look, our bowl would always end up empty coz...it's actually quite tasty lar hehe.
